About Me!

Hi! (Waves at screen then realizes what I just did. Puts hand down slowly.)

There is not a great deal to tell about me. I suppose I can give the generic run down.

Single.

Fabulous. (Though it has taken a long time to get to this level!)

I have to do math to remember my age because I don’t act, look, or feel like what that mathematical equation gives me for a number.

I have family that is crazy that I don’t deal with. I have family that is crazy that I do deal with. But mostly I have people I have made family because they have created a safe loving place for me within their lives.

I have a deep love and affection for Leonard Nimoy. Yes. THAT Leonard Nimoy! For not having ever met this man, he has been a major influence in my life.

I love to write. I love to share stories and anecdotes and poetry and whatever else comes from my pen. And yes-I do a lot of writing long hand and have a favorite pen and am very particular about that pen! If I have threatened to stab you with said pen, then you have pissed me off to an extreme extent and should walk away from me. Now.

I love animals and would rather spend time with an animal than with humans.

I was asked repeatedly why I had not started a blog. After a nudge or two or a million, I finally started this one.

Basically I am a shy girl with wild hair and major anxiety issues.

I love to play in makeup because I was told growing up that chubby girls like me cannot wear makeup because we have too fat of faces. I HATE the word fat.

And I love color! In my house. In my life. In my hair. In the people I surround myself with.

So, there you have it. Me. In a nutshell. (Emphasis on nut.)
